Edit: FStream seems to work to (free)
Edit 2: No it doesn't it connects and then disconnects
Edit 3: Looks like the only app that's going to work is the NullRiver app
The stream appears to be working, time is commencing and it gives out valid title information, however there is no sound. Other streaming services like Lounge Radio work fine, so it's probably not my system. I am running it on Winamp/Vista.
edit: now it works like a champ, awesome!
Great for in the car on the way to work, thanks Leo.
Enter the URL in the browser and hit enter so that the small twit.m3u file downloads. It likely will then launch iTunes but just quit iTunes and the file should be in your downloads directory. Select that twit.m3u file and choose "Get Info..." and set the file to open with FStream instead of the default, which is iTunes. I chose to also make all other "m3u" files launch with FStream but that's a personal preference.
Now, to get FStream to work and play the feed, just double click the file. Seems to work every time. Keep the file in a safe place and you could also pop it into your dock for quick access.
Hope that helps!
Without the '.m3u'
When it goes to sleep it stops working
Listened to "Roz Rows 41" today using Tuner. I'm in Canada using 3G. Works like a charm.
Even more of Leo now. Yeah.
It's also great to be able to listen from my iPhone. (Either through FStream; which is a little sketchy or through a PHP script I wrote based on http://blog.fuexy.com/2007/11/03/streaming-shou... )

Now, if only Adobe and Apple can agree on a Flash plugin for the iPhone/iPod Touch ...
Next step , please add a channel so i hook up my Apple TV and can watch shows at night.
Thanks
I'm listening on my Centro (sorry - no iPhone!). I'm using Pocket Tunes, Under Tools, Internet radio I added http://twit.am and it's working!
URL http://twit.am/listen
Bitrate 64K
Format m3u
I'm using it through a 3G network (Chicago suburbs).
I think it's great to have the stream, but I'd thought I'd mention you should check your math. If you have 4TB per month of total bandwidth, that will service 200 listeners who were connected 24/7 at 64kbps.
And thanks for sharing info about the Barix Instreamer. I've been looking for a product like this, and I happen to like it's feature set.
