Leo, I have problems with the accessibility of Adobe AIR apps. It makes me sad. Speaking of accessibility, why hasn't anybody mentioned that the new iPod and iTunes are accessible more than they used to be. I am still waiting to 'see' on Zune. I was surprised I haven't heard this on any of the podcasts I subscribe to from TWiT. Later, man, keep the content coming.

Wonder if anyone else has problems getting messages from the Twit Army on identi.ca. Last updates / messages have been 2 weeks ago.

I'm running Ubuntu 8.04, I have Adobe Air installed, but I do not see a Twhirl install link on this page. I have the older version of Twhirl 0.8.8.4 installed with Air.

Tried to install TWHIRL, but get the following error: The application could not be installed because the AIR file is damaged. Try obtaining a new AIR file from the application author.

Is there anyway to have twhirl display the public timeline as well as my personal timeline? With a group this small the public timeline really gets important.

Hi Leo, I have to admit that I have no idea what you are talking about. I am a basic user of Twitter on my cell phone and PC. I follow you and Twit TV. I also watch your impressive webcasts on TwitTV when I can. Can you provide some background on the more advanced Twitter or Twitter-like things you mention? You are such a good 'splainer. What is Twit Army? Is there a BootCamp? Does it deploy to world Hotspots (Starbucks)?

The badge for Twhirl doesn't work for me in Linux. It claims that Air isn't available for my system. There is an alpha version that works just fine. Anyway, here is a direct like to the beta for the Linux users out there:

You have to click the install on this page to get version 0.8.5. It does not work on the current version and clicking the update tab in the app it says it is up to date. What a fun puzzle to figure out this morning ;)
